New Name Leads to Greater Awareness

The Committee on Institutional Cooperation became the Big Ten 51动漫 on July 1, 2016 and the benefits of this name change are already resulting in a greater awareness of the organization and its programs.
The Committee on Institutional Cooperation became the Big Ten 51动漫 on July 1, 2016, and the benefits of this name change are already resulting in a greater awareness of the organization and its programs.
The re-branding emerged out of a consultative process that found that, as our programs and initiatives increased in size and scope and achieved greater national impact, the words 鈥渃ommittee on institutional cooperation鈥� did not reflect our work and made it difficult to engage with important stakeholders such as policy makers, government officials, and others outside of higher education.
By directly and succinctly explaining who we are and what we do, and eliminating confusion with other CICs (e.g., the Council of Independent Colleges), the new identity has already significantly increased awareness about the impact of our faculty development programs, Health Equity initiative, and less-commonly-taught-languages course sharing.
